I've used AmmoSeek a few times when I was hunting for some hard-to-find 9mm ammo and honestly, it's been a decent experience. It pulls up prices from a variety of retailers, which is great for comparing costs, especially when prices can vary so much these days. I did run into a couple of sketchy sellers with inflated shipping fees or long delivery times, so I recommend checking the seller ratings and reviews before committing to a purchase. Just remember to factor in shipping costs when comparing prices because sometimes what seems cheapest upfront can end up costing more in the end. Overall, I think it's a solid tool, but like with anything online, just stay vigilant.

Not a fan .... I buy from my LGS unless it's something off the wall they don't carry.

Luckily here in Northern Nevada, we have Big Sporting goods stores and numerous smaller gun shops where I can pay cash.

But I have trust issues.

I do look at ammoseek, often times if I'm selling ammo for some reason and want to see what it can be had for from a legitimate vendor (with shipping). But I'll usually need to scroll down quite a bit to find either (1) a non-skeegy vendor, (2) a vendor that is not charging stupidly high shipping prices or (3) and this is the fun one, vendors that either don't have the ammo in stock, or only carry one or two boxes to claim that 'yes, we are selling at that price'.

It can be a resource of sorts if the shopper is wary and does their homework. Buying from random vendor #7 that you've never heard of without doing some research to see if others have had any problems with them is a recipe for burning money.
