I'm planning a trip to visit family and need some advice on traveling with my firearm. I'd like to bring it along, but going through New York State seems like a real hassle. Avoiding NY would add a ridiculous amount of drive time, and I'm not sure if it's worth the extra miles. Has anyone else run into this issue and what did you end up doing?
