I have been spending more range time lately, trying to clean up the basics (grip, stance, trigger pull, and breathing) It’s wild how the little stuff slips if you don’t stay sharp. Anyone else do regular fundamentals check-ins?

Absolutely @Clyde. I make it a habit to run a fundamentals session every few trips too. It’s amazing how much smoother everything feels after refocusing on the basics. You’re doing it right, steady work pays off big.

I’m right there with you. Every few weeks I run a back to basics session just to tighten up the fundamentals. It’s amazing how much smoother everything feels after a good refresher.

I remember when I started shooting at our local range, as much as range day was always challenging (there's this one guy who always snatches the trigger), it was still fun and it excites me to focus on the basics. I try to dry fire practice for five minutes every morning to keep the grip and trigger pull consistent, it truly makes a difference

Keep focusing on the basics, they're super important and try filming your shooting so you can see what you're doing wrong. Practicing your trigger pull at home really helps you stay sharp, even pros need to work on the simple stuff sometimes
