Does gun weight matter for carry?

It's not just about the weight of your gun..how it's balanced and the holster you use are also important. A heavy gun in a good holster is way better than a light gun in a bad one. But, let's be real, lighter guns are just easier to carry around all day. So, you gotta find what works best for you... a sweet spot between how well you can shoot with it and how comfortable it is to carry

Didn't use to. Was rocking that boomer 1911 for years. But after two major surgeries and getting old .... Yeah it does.

You're not going to carry something annoying all day. If it's comfy, you'll use it more. The best gun to carry is the one you actually keep on you without messing with it or wanting to take it off.

Weight matters but balance is more important. I've carried a heavy gun comfortably with a good holster. A light gun with a bad setup made me miserable all day.
