Non firearm defense weapons

I've been considering non-gun home defense, especially after some late-night knocks that didn't warrant a firearm. I've had a flashlight, OC spray and a baton by my bed for years and they've honestly resolved more issues than anything else. What non-gun tools do you keep at home that have actually worked for you?

A tactical flashlight is a must! I’ve found that just confusing someone is often enough to stop trouble.
