I've got ammo for a couple calibers I no longer own.
What other barter / trade items are you collecting

Been collecting and saving gold and silver since the 80's bought most of my silver in US coinage before it went above $20 a ounce
Some US gold coin, mostly other countries currency. 1/4, 1/2 and full ounce coins

You've probably done pretty well buying silver back in those days. Besides precious metals, I tend to look at useful consumables. Ammunition, batteries, fuel, spare parts and basic medical supplies all seem like things people would actually trade for.

For me, pre-1965 US silver coins are the go-to. Anyone can verify them without special knowledge and that’s more important than people think when you’re trading in the real world.
