I'll never forget my first range visit, my hands were shaking, heart racing, and a few fumbling safety checks. Once I finally fired, it was pure joy. I left with soot on my hands and a huge grin. How about you all? Any memorable first time at the range stories?

Oh man, I was so nervous I forgot to put my ear protection back on after the safety briefing. First shot nearly made me jump out of my skin. The range officer just shook his head and handed me my earmuffs like he'd seen it a thousand times before, I still cringe thinking about it

Ha! Range officers have definitely seen it all...at least you learned that lesson quick. Now I bet you never forget your ear pro, nothing like that first shock to drill it in
