Legal shooting hours end at sunset but trying to find your sights in failing light is tough. I missed a shot last season because I couldn't see my reticle well enough. What do you do for low light hunting situations?

The reticle I now use is brighter, and I mess around when the sun is almost down, when it's still legal. Knowing what I could do and what I couldn't, helped a lot more than any gear when it gets dark fast.

Low light can be tricky, many hunters use illuminated reticles, high-visibility optics, or a headlamp for setup and spotting.

If there's still light in the sky, you can find the reticle, then keep your eye on it while you pan down to your target... sometimes...
