The shooting skill that took the longest to develop

I will say "calling my shots knowing where the bullet went before seeing the target". It took me years to develop that level of awareness of sight picture and trigger press. I am still not perfect at it. It's one of those expert-level skills that separates good shooters from great ones.

Calling shots felt like wizardry, I’m still guessing and hoping target agrees sometimes today.

Calling shots is a perishable skill, I used to be to call 4:00 o'clock in the 7 ring, now it's "Nope, that one is off" ..... I haven't shot competitive Bullseye in years... Lots of years...

Muscle memory’s loyal, but it definitely starts forgetting addresses when you stop visiting regularly
