Hey everyone! I thought it'd be great to start a thread about our local gun shops. We all know how important it is to find a trustworthy place for buying and servicing our firearms. What makes a gun shop trustworthy to you? Have you had any great or really bad experiences? Maybe you've got a favorite spot you'd recommend to others?

I'm particularly interested in shops with a solid used gun selection, fair prices, and reasonable transfer fees. Let's share our thoughts so we can help each other out. Post your reviews below, and don't forget to mention your location!

I have a question for you all maybe someone could answer I have a S&W model 27 I have had it for years and I took it recently to the range and I noticed that after you fire it the cylinder is a bit to hard to open ? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am going to pimp my very very small gun store. My wife does not do private party transfers and rarely does regular transfers. We are in an office space and appt only although that is her full time job. We just need to have appts made as being in an office space it is almost a necessity. We see one customer at a time so nobody looking over your shoulder and you don't have to compete with others for service. We normally have around 300 firearms in stock so not as much as some places but more than many. We stock a small amount of ammo as well in the common calibers. I think our prices are quite competitive. We do all the local gun shows except the ones at the Ahern Hotel and we are always the largest setup. We also do NFA items and do all the paperwork, photos, and fingerprints at the store.

S&S Wholesale Arms... in Henderson.

Here in Northern Nevada my go to gun shop is Juggernaut Arms in Sparks.
They don't charge a transfer fee if you buy a gun from them. Only on PPT's and Online Shipments going thru them and even then they're on of the cheapest shops in town
