I quit worrying about super high magnification and started picking scopes based on where I'm hunting. My old Leupold 3-9x gets more use than anything else now. Anyone else go simpler?

A quality 3–9x covers most real hunting situations

My go to hunting Scopes are a 4-12
But it kinda depends on your hunting area.
When I lived in PA I never used a optic on my hunting rifles, but I rarely took a shot over 50 yards.
Here in Northern Nevada 500+ yards could be possible for some hunts
