My 9mm stash is getting ridiculous

I counted it yesterday and I've got like 3,000 rounds sitting in ammo cans. I started buying heavy during the shortage and never stopped, now I'm wondering if this is too much or if there's even such a thing as too much ammo. What's everyone sitting on these days?

I stopped counting how many bullets I shot and started keeping track of what I used. If I shoot it a lot, I keep a lot of it. If I don’t, I stop buying it. Ammo you don’t practice with is just extra weight.

3000 .... rookie numbers.
I have 4 cases, and three 50 cal cans full of loose rounds.
Two have been full and sealed since the 80's

Have some ammo for guns I don't own currently

3,000 is not a lot, I've got at least that much loaded, and enough components to load 8 or 10 more. If I see a good buy on components I'll buy more, or if I start getting a bit lower, I'll buy more, even if it's not a great buy....
