What’s Your Bedroom Gun?

I'm curious about what everyone keeps near their bed at night for peace of mind. Do you have a specific firearm for home defense? If so, any tips on setup, like lights or safes?

Mine is an older Sig P226 9mm. I bought it used a bit over 30 yrs ago. I have a lazer grip for it.

I myself am a sinner - I still like the .40 caliber. I keep an FNS .40 cal long slide under the night stand. Under instead of in the drawer. I'd hate for someone to sneak in while I'm asleep and shoot me in the head with my own gun lol. Everyone looks in the drawer - not near as many look under the nightstand lol. I also keep an AR and 3 loaded mags in a carry pouch with a sling on both. Everything else stays locked up - well almost everything. My daily carry pistol stays in a secluded spot over night.

It used to be my BHP 9mm, but then I switched to my Masada 9. Off and on it was my Benelli M2 with the short 18.5" shorter barrel. It is 12 ga. of course.
